My journey into web design is a story of passion, perseverance, and purpose that began in the heart of Eastern New Mexico University. As a recent computer science graduate, I found myself at a crossroads that many young professionals experience – armed with knowledge but facing the challenging landscape of the tech job market. The traditional path of job hunting seemed increasingly frustrating, and it was during this period of uncertainty that a transformative idea took root. Instead of waiting for the perfect job to come along, I decided to create an opportunity that would not only showcase my skills but also provide genuine value to my local community.
Roadrunner Webdesign was born from a profound belief that small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, and they deserve powerful digital tools that don't require a massive technology budget. I witnessed firsthand the struggles of local businesses wrestling with complicated website builders, generic templates, and solutions that seemed more designed to confuse than to empower. My mission became crystal clear: to create websites that are not just digital placeholders, but strategic assets that help businesses grow, compete, and thrive in an increasingly digital marketplace.
